Beats By Dr.Dre – Studio 3 Wireless Headphones

The well-known company, that was found back in 2006 by Andre “Dr.Dre” Young, recently released their latest sequel of the Studio series headphones – Beats Studio3 Wireless. The Beats music accessories have millions of fans worldwide and ever since the creation of the company, it has been aiming at the highest quality sound and materials. They changed in a big way how headphones are being made, and that’s due to Andre’s constant perfectionism not only in music but in every business step he takes.

He made a deal with Apple two years ago, which lets them use Beats accessories for iPhones and other Apple products and meanwhile co-operate in the design and way how the headphones are made and built. The new Studio3 model has a premium sound quality, driven by Apple’s W1 chip that is for seamless setup and switching for your Apple devices. They are wireless and perfect for any occasion and fast charging, with incredible design and quality materials as always. Noise cancellation is another feature of the headphones, so it will be not only good for listening to music in your free time but will be important for deejays who want to hear perfectly and clearly what’re they doing currently.

Design

In terms of design, the headphones are flawless as they have always been. Like the last generation, there’s a chrome-finished panel above each of the hinges, although there is a lack of glossy finishes in the color options. Each of the six colors is a matte, with the only shine provided by those aforementioned chromed panels, and the iconic “B” logo on the exterior of the earcups. There’s a set of physical controls on the outside of the left earcup that allows you to skip tracks, adjust the volume, take calls or launch Siri on your iPhone.

The middle “B” icon on the left side acts as the play/pause button, while the upper part of the surrounding ring is the volume up button, and the lower part is volume down.  The plastics don’t creak too much. And there’s a well-judged bit of resistance in the fold-up hinge of the headband that stops the stems from flapping around like broken arms with normal use.

Battery life and connectivity

The Apple W1 chip is one of the major changes that have been made to the sequel, along with the extended battery life and the class 1 Bluetooth, that allows for extended range with fewer drop-outs than ever, so you can move freely and keep the music going. The W1 chip lets you freely connect it to your Apple devices, and the extended battery life is beyond limits. With one charging you could listen up to 22hours of music, and with a 10-minute charging, the battery could last up to 3 hours of playback time.If you turn the “Pure ANC” feature off, for low power mode, provides up to 40 hours of playback without sacrificing audio quality.

Performance

The Pure ANC option is another innovation that’s been added to the Beats Studio 3 Wireless. The Studio series has active noise cancellation for the last 3 years but from the company assure us that the Pure ANC is a new and enhanced version that’s designed to avoid distortion caused by the cancellation of louder sources.

“iOS 10 or iOS 11 users have the ability to seamlessly switch between iCloud-registered devices*, meaning you can conveniently transfer from taking a call on your iPhone to watching a movie on your MacBook.” – BeatsByDre

The sound of the headphones will hardly disappoint you. It sounds pretty clear and is not overly bassed, but actually with a thickness in the upper bass and low mids, rather than sub-bass. The cushioning and isolation around your ear add not only to the comfort but assures that the quality sound comes directly at your ear without any distortion.

The headphones come in a carrying case, made just about this model and feature the “B” branding, with 3.5mm RemoteTalk Cable inside and universal USB charging cable. You can order the headphones on the Apple’s website for $349.95. The price is reasonable because the headphones are an all-around player. They will suit perfectly any DJ or just a music lover and will help and support you in any activity connected with music.
