A Samsung foldable smartphone has been in the news and rumors for quite some time. However, this new type of tech might come out at just the end of the year that has already started recently. If we’re all lucky, we’ll see a final Samsung foldable smartphone on the market by December 2018, or the very start of 2019. Whether that’ll be a Note, Galaxy, or a completely different family of devices, remains a company’s secret. It doesn’t really matter, as the effort that the engineers put into the project will most promisingly pay off!
The source of this information is ETNews, which says that Samsung is about to start development of the foldable displays by March, after which manufacturing of these panels is scheduled for September, but the deadlines may be changed, so there is no way currently to say whether the phone will come out in December or January. The good news are that the project is going to happen, and the fans that waited for such a long time will soon be able to get their hands on this interesting and foldable smartphone.
If perfected, the technology and the foldable smartphone itself will create a new breed of devices offering a completely new, and immersing user experience.In this device, we’ll be able to see a 7.3-inch flexible OLED display that’ll fold inwards – just like closing a book. This move by Samsung is great and my opinion is that they’ll try to offer something different to users that have been just a part of our imagination until now. Therefore, the device will be considered as better than the current premium models, which will cause its price to be higher than it is. The project itself is taking a couple of years already, so start saving from now so you can get it as soon as it comes on the market!
