iPhone X – Available For Pre-order

Apple announced the international release for the iPhone X, which is the sequel to the popular series. The phone is featuring the latest technology in it, and will surely have things that will amaze you in some particular way. The design, camera, hardware and everything you can imagine for the phone is provided at maximum level. From Apple always do the best to stay on top and we should admire their dedication and effort but the phone is a little bit overpriced. It costs $1,100, which compared to its biggest rival, the Samsung Galaxy S8, is a 350 dollar difference.

However, the phone is perfect, and if you could afford it I am sure that you’ll really enjoy it. It has a 5.8″ display, with the latest Apple technology used for the screen. The Super Retina HD display combined with the A11 Bionic could also present Augment Reality in different apps and games in an interesting and well-performing way.

Design

The design of the phone is really smooth and sophisticated at the same time. For all the features and hardware inside, it’s important to mention that the phone is really ergonomic and light – it weights only 174g and is dimensioned at 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm.

On the front, the phone does not have any buttons and could be unlocked by the Face ID technology, that is great at recognizing different faces and is the perfect security tool. The home “button” could be again used as a security tool because it’s actually a fingerprint sensor, that you can use to unlock your phone and you can restrict the access to your personal information. The front camera is in the centre of the top lid, right above the screen, different from most models, whose front camera is on the left side. The iPhone X display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle.

On the side frame, the material that’s used is stainless steel, which will make the phone more durable and also adds to the purity of the design. There are also volume buttons, the mute switch, and the sleep/wake button on it and the audio jack is again missing in this one, which I find unpleasant for a $1,100 phone.

Apple’s True Tone system automatically adjusts colour temperature to ambient light, photos are displayed in a wider colour gamut, and there’s even Dolby Vision HDR support, so iTunes movies mastered in HDR play with higher brightness and dynamic range. All this is presented on a 5.8″ all-screen OLED Multi-Touch display using bright, sharp and vibrant schemes and auto-tuning.

Performance and characteristics

I really like the chipset inside – A11 Bionic chip with 64-bit architecture, that is incredible for games and literally any activity you decide to perform.  The chip is really powerful and it has two high-performance cores, which are 25% faster than the Apple A10 and four high-efficiency cores, which are up to 70% faster than the energy-efficient cores in the A10.

The software used on the device is the latest iOS 11.1.The performance of the device is beyond limits. It is incredibly powerful and quick, with incredible camera possibilities and limitless other features. The iPhone X comes in two types of internal storage – 64GB and 256GB, both with 3GB RAM capacity.

The picture is displayed perfectly on the 5.8″ all-screen OLED Multi-Touch display with Super Retina HD and HDR. The presentation is among the top 3 best you can see on the market. Apple did great with the last year deal with Samsung, which gave them the OLED displays. This was a smart and innovative move, and we can clearly see the result on the iPhone X.

The phone is really great for gaming and movies.OLED offers perfect blacks and much more vivid colours than LCD displays, and all the best phones use it. If you plump for the iPhone 8 or 8 Plus, you’ll be stuck with the IPS LCD panels. The OLED in the iPhone X is also Dolby Vision and HDR 10 capable. It also offers a much higher resolution 2436 x 1125, rather than 720p or 1080p.

Camera and video recording

Ever since iPhones came out, they were really well-known for their innovative and high-quality cameras. In this sequel, Apple again does not let their fans down. The newest iPhone features the latest technology when it comes to recording. The front camera has been revolutionary changed.

It has been enhanced to the point, that it’s able to support Face ID, that recognizes faces not only for photos but for another way of unlocking your phone. It works as a background process while your phone is “sleeping”.It has an infrared camera, flood illuminator, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, speaker, microphone, 7MP camera, and Dot projector that hits 30,000 points on your face.

Lots of sensors are included, that give you countless options and features. The zoom is also great and lets you digitally zoom-in photos up to 10x.The camera has a six-element lens, with sapphire crystal lens cover. It also has backside illumination sensor, with tap and auto Focus Pixels. There are stabilizers for exposure, live photos stabilization, and body and face detection.

The videos it takes can be easily used for professional purposes. The camera can record at 4K or 1080p at 24/30 or 60. It supports slo-mo and time-lapse video stabilization and has a great Quad-LED True Tone flash, that could be used for incredibly vivid photos in dark spaces. It has a 6x optical zoom and image stabilization for video. The formats that it records are HEVC and H.264.

What’s in the pack?

When you order the iPhone X, you get EarPods with perfect quality sound and a USB cable, that combined with the USB Power Adapter makes the charging system. The worst thing about the phone is that it does not support 3.5mm audio-jack, but from Apple added a 3.5mm adapter, which is the solution of this con.
