The LG OLED G7 – Flatscreen 4K TV

LG released their new addition to the famous TV OLED series and it surely is a high-class TV with incredible abilities and graphics presentation. It comes in 65- and 77-inch screen, at the price of $6,999 and $9,999, which I find a little bit expensive but it’s a TV that respectively is worth its money if you can afford it.

The way it presents images is fabulous. The resolution it has is 3840 x 2160, and combined with the OLED display makes it hard to compete with. HDR dynamics are profound and it’s also a Smart TV, which adds numerous capabilities itself. The upgraded webOS 3.5 is optimised to the fullest and the experience of using it is great!

Design

To be honest, I really like the design and the way how this TV looks. It is clean and sharp looking, and will perfectly suit any living room or space that it fills. It brings brightness and vividness whenever you place it. The TV comes in two versions – 65-and 77-inch and the 2.7″ thickness is unbelievable for a TV that can do so many things.

On the front, there’s nothing to distract you while watching your favorite show. The display area consists of a big, realistic picture presented in a slim glass pan. You can also mount it on the wall, and it will look incredible from any angle that you look at it. I bet that you will hear it perfectly too, because of the built-in surround system, that makes you feel that you’re in a real cinema.

On the back of the TV’s pedestal, there are four HDMIs, all HDCP 2.2 compliant, as well as 3 USB inputs, Ethernet,  an optical digital output, RS232 port for system control, a CI slot and Wi-Fi compatibility.

Presentation, performance, and sound

Profound black, a key attribute of OLED technology, makes everything look spectacular. The TV is ULTRA HD Premium certified, and its both HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatible.Fine detail and HDR dynamics are both impressive and you can choose from image presets as ports, Game, HDR Effect, Vivid, Standard, Eco, Cinema, and Sports.

The sound is as perfect as the picture is. The integrated soundbar hides a loud and clear speaker, but its, not the only ingredient that the perfect surround system needs. What is interesting about this soundbar actually, is that it has Dolby Atmos decoder, but you’ll need to upgrade to an Atmos AV receiver if you want to make the most of the Atmos decoder. The built-in 60W( with 20W woofer) sound system takes it a step in front of other TV’s on the market

The vibrant, wide color and beautiful presentation is perfect for gaming needs and I bet that the TV will look incredible with the new Xbox One X or another powerful console. The 4K and fine details combined with the billion rich color, and true color accuracy add to the experience of any activity performed on this TV.

All in all, this TV is worth the money and it’s incredibly fun to play with it and try out the things it’s capable of. You can watch your favorite online shows with it or use Netflix as a platform for this.
