Apple’s iMac Pro 2017 – Coming In December!

Apple, the leading company in technology, innovation, and communication, recently announced the release of their newest sequel to tie iMac series – the iMac Pro 2017. The big team of engineers from Apple surely gave their best on this project, and it turned out perfectly! Fans really like it and expect the release of this machine in December this year. I hope that it’ll drop until Christmas, so here’s a suggestion for a present for your most loved ones. You have to really love someone if you are ready to give them a $2,999 – $3,999 present, so you’d better think twice before the purchase.

Of course, love does not measure in money, but in this case, we can define “love” by other numbers – just read along for the specs of the product, and you’ll get my point. The processor, display, internal and RAM storage and all of the features of the upcoming iMac Pro are monstrous and all that combined with the design makes it not only look futuristic but to also feel compact, communicative, responsive and supportive.

Design

This new professional-grade iMac is created and designed in a way, that it could come up to the expectations and even answered to most of the demands that users had about the previous model and added them to this one, which shows that Apple cares about its fans and will not let them down.

“We re-engineered the whole system and designed an entirely new thermal architecture to pack extraordinary performance into the elegant, quiet iMac enclosure our customers love. iMac Pro is a huge step forward and there’s never been anything like it.” – Apple’s Spokesman.

This means that they created a whole new system of ventilation, with 80% increased cooling capacity, that hides in the back of the 27-inch Retina 5K display with 5120 х 2880 pixel resolution. No, that was not a spelling mistake – the display is not 4K but 5K, which theoretically means that it is 43% brighter and capable of reproducing more colors. The ports are also hiding on the back of the display and include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, SDXC card slot, 4 x USB type 3, 4 x Thunderbolt type 3 and an Ethernet port.

The iMac Pro will ship with matching space gray accessories that will be exclusive to the high-end machine and not otherwise available to Apple users. Those accessories include a wireless Magic Keyboard with a numeric keyboard and either a Magic Mouse 2 or a Magic Trackpad 2.

Performance and specs

This addition to the iMac series will be the most powerful, since the very start. The aim of this machine is to create a platform for designers and artists to creatively work on and express their ideas, so it has to support the latest and power-requiring programmes. To achieve their aim, from Apple knew, that they had to put powerful hardware but they went out of the roof!

The iMac Pro will feature three different processor versions – 8, 10 and 18 core ones. The new family of Intel’s Xeon processors was introduced in early August and they were preferred in front any other type of processor, because of the large amount of data, that they could deal with at any time. The frequency that they will be clocked at, is rumored to be 4.5GHz.The internal storage will be 1TB but will be able to be upgraded to 2 or 4TB with 32GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM, boostable up to 64 or 128GB! With so much storage and numbers, I guess that the abilities of this most powerful desktop computer will be limitless!

The images that get to the user’s eye will be backed up by Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics processor with 8GB of HBM2 memory, configurable to Radeon Pro Vega 64 graphics processor with 16GB of HBM2 memory. It will be all presented on a 27-inch 5K Retina display with outshining 5120 x 2880 resolution that supports billions of colors. It surely will support you in any project that you start on the iMac and you will clearly and vividly express anything that’s on your brain.

A 108op FaceTime HD camera was also added on the top of the display along with four microphones and enhanced speakers, which Apple says deliver a broad frequency response, rich bass, and more volume. The four Thunderbolt 3 ports built into the iMac Pro, can power up to two high-performance RAID arrays and two 5K displays simultaneously, for additional productivity.
