Xiaomi Users Now Can Trace The Repair-Process

Xiaomi is the No. 1 Smartphone brand in India, they have already taken over the online segment and now have gone offline too. Apart from this, the company has set up many service centers. The good news is that you can now track your Xiaomi Device repair status in real time online.

The company is offering this service that will surely help users worldwide and is somehow innovative, as other big companies don’t offer it. Xiaomi devices come with a great price tag and their quality is also great, and now their support level is great as well. You may never get to see their service center but in case you face any issue with your Xiaomi smartphone/tablet you can head over to the service center and get it rectified/repaired.

In a recent Twitter post, Manu Kumar, the managing director of India’s biggest smartphone company, announced the new feature and service that Xiaomi will provide its users with.

How to track your device using service order status?

The whole process is done in 3 super-easy steps. All you have to do is:

  • Enter your contact/order/service/IMEI/Sn No.
  • Click on ‘Confirm’ to get an OTP on your mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit’. You will get the status of your service order along with the details of your device.

Some common service status terms

  • Under inspection – Your device is being checked
  • Work in progress – Your device is getting repaired
  • Ready for delivery – Your device is repaired and is ready to be delivered
  • Delivered – You have accepted the delivery of your device
  • Cancelled – Your service order is canceled

This option is surely great for Xiaomi users and I will be pleased if there’s something similar to this offered by other leading companies. Knowing what’s particularly going on with your mobile phone will be of great relief and will let you roughly calculate when you’ll receive it. Therefore, you’ll be able to plan whether to borrow a friends phone, or you’ll survive 3-4 or whatsoever more days until you get your device back.

This move shows that they not only tend to be innovative and supply users with the best for the lowest price possible, but they are showing that they care about your opinion, device, and loyalty to the company. Keeping the users satisfied is key to the success when you are offering products that will be used by the mass of people, so I support this move both business-wise and user-wise.
