Sony Future Wireless Earbuds – Better Than AirPods?

At the recently held event, CEO 2018, Sony has shown something really interesting. What I’m talking about is a pair wireless earbuds that were presented as very clever and Noise Cancelling. They are also wireless, which is considered as a tendency among smartphone companies – I don’t really think that the idea of going from wired to wireless is necessary, but that’s another question.

Sony’s already has a huge range of wireless products and headphones, but these ones have something that no other headphone set does – including the top-end Apple’s AirPods. Those WF-SP700N are the world’s first truly wireless Noise Cancelling headphones with a splash-proof design! This means that they not only kill the annoying background noises but can also survive being drained in litres of swear, during a hard exercise, without getting damaged.

In fact, they come with an IPX4 rating, meaning they should be able to cope with most people’s daily activities with ease.Extra bass and the ability to tweak the sound via Sony’s app should all help to make these new headphones a perfect workout companion for anyone! From Sony say that they’ve used arc supporters for the design, which by itself means that they should fir any type of ear shell securely.

The design is great and they also come in four colours – pink, yellow, black and white, with yellow being my personal favorite. They’ll also include Google Assistant installed, allowing to search the web and play music simply by speaking to them. Alongside the fully wireless WF-SP700N, Sony will also add two standard in-ear models – thus being the WI-SP600N and the WI-SP500.

The WI-SP600N model has the same Digital Noise Cancelling and sound quality technology as the WF-SP700N, plus the same level Splash-Proof rating.Meanwhile, the WI-SP500 headphones have an open-type driver unit to recognise ambient sounds, as well as an IPX4 rating, and easy connectivity to your smartphone thanks to NFC. These incredible earbud additions are expected to release on the market from spring 2017, with prices not higher than $140!
