The Best Headphones Expected in 2018

I’m certainly not saying this for the first time, but the next months that will fill the year of 2018 look way too promising, when it comes to audio technology! The event that was held exactly a month ago, CES 2018 at Las Vegas, presented some incredible products, which caught the attention of many people, most of which were music enthusiasts.

Great headphone sets were showed off by different companies and they will surely have a huge impact on the audio market in near future. That’s why I decided to drop a few lines about them and prepare/get you ready for what is about to come out, so you’d be ready to start saving up from this moment. Along with UrAvgConsumer, I’ll most accurately present you the best headphones that were seen at the CES 2018.

Sony’s WF-SP700N

Sony’s already has a huge range of wireless products and headphones, but these ones have something that no other headphone set does – including the top-end Apple’s AirPods. Those WF-SP700N are the world’s first truly wireless Noise Cancelling headphones with a splash-proof design! This means that they not only kill the annoying background noises but can also survive being drained in liters of swear, during a hard exercise, without getting damaged.

In fact, they come with an IPX4 rating, meaning they should be able to cope with most people’s daily activities with ease.Extra bass and the ability to tweak the sound via Sony’s app should all help to make these new headphones a perfect workout companion for anyone! From Sony say that they’ve used arc supporters for the design, which by itself means that they should fir any type of ear shell securely.

The design is great and they also come in four colors – pink, yellow, black and white, with yellow being my personal favorite. They’ll also include Google Assistant installed, allowing to search the web and play music simply by speaking to them. Alongside the fully wireless WF-SP700N, Sony will also add two standard in-ear models – thus being the WI-SP600N and the WI-SP500.

Audio Technica – ATH-ANC700BT

The ANC700BTs claim to block out 90% of external ambient noise thanks to feedback-based noise-canceling technology. Inside the ear cups are 40mm drivers which deliver a “clear and detailed sonic performance” and because they support aptX audio, the ANC700BTs can deliver CD-quality sound over a wireless connection. Attach a cable to them though and plug them into your music source, the ANC700BT can support and playback high-resolution audio.

On a full charge, internal battery provides up to 25 hours of continuous use of Bluetooth wireless and noise-canceling technology, and up to 1,000 hours on standby. If you decide to opt for noise cancellation in wired mode, you’ll see that the battery life extends even further to 45 hours. Switching noise canceling mode on and off is as simple as tapping the left ear cup, while a range of swipe gestures can control music playback and answer calls.

Sennheiser HD 820

In terms of audio technology, Sennheiser had great additions to the market from last year. They opened this year promisingly with the arrival at the show, with their Sennheiser HD 820 headphones, that look and work incredibly! The open-back design of the headphones features a Gorilla Glass window on the ear cup that reveals the internal components, while also blocking out exterior noise and resonating vibrations with better accuracy.

This creates an audio experience that is virtually free of distortion to ensure that users are only presented with the best-quality feedback when at work, home or during travel. The Sennheiser HD 820 headphones are set to be available for purchase for $2,400 and are crafted from a mix of microfiber and synthetic leather for an ultra-comfortable experience and they will surely be liked from the mass, except the price…
